Thank you for reading and for the comment!  I tend to disagree with teh first part of your statement that he should try to do it as soon as possible.  I think he absolutely should work on honing the skills needed to survive on his own, but I think a 15 year old is just not mature enough to be able to handle the stresses of creating his own home.  

I personally believe that what he is feeling is normal.  I think many young people go through it.  In Eric's case, I think his intelligence is getting in the way of what is best for him.  As you said, he will eventually leave home anyway, what I'm saying is that he needs to be 150% sure he wants to rush that eventuality.</description>

		<description>I think your advice is really good.  If he can afford to be free of his parents he should do it.  Since he will eventually leave home anyway he could try to do it as soon as possible.  If he finds that he still needs his parents then he needs to follow their rules.</description>
